LET'S CAPTURE PLASTIC FROM THE SEA

A NEW ECO PLAYER
PLASTIC CREDIT STRUCTURE

WHO WE ARE

C stands for CAPTURE, which is the primary action in the company’s strategy of eradicating plastic.
By capturing it and converting it into credits for companies, C PLASTIC is, in fact, promoting a cleaner circular economy.

Moreover, the letter “C” phonetically evokes the word “sea”, instantly portraying the urge to act on the waste pollution

problems in marine and coastal ecosystems.

We are a new eco player, following the natural eco-conscious trend that has slowly conquered the agenda of

many companies, making them shift practices and reorganize goals to embrace a greener future.

We reduce plastic waste pollution by cleaning the ecosystems, through inclusive and sustainable communities,

green jobs and business opportunities in local circular economies.

With greater focus on corporate social responsibility management, the issue of neutralising environmental footprints

emerges as a central point, with the need for holistic management of the entire product cycle.

OBJECTIVES

Cleaning plastic waste pollution

from marine and coastal ecosystems.

Increasing plastic waste recycling with empowered local communities, promoting a circular economy.

HOW IT WORKS

We leverage various partners in their activities

to remove plastic waste from the oceans, coastal areas  or rivers, impacting the cleaned ecosystems.

We encourage the Circular Economy, by increasing  the amount of plastic material for recycling.

We empower local communities, either through their contribution to daily cleaning and recycling activities  or through raising awareness of new behaviours.

We guarantee the integrity of the information

and the certification of plastic credits according  to international standards.

PROJECTS

GET TO PLASTIC NEUTRALITY

 — THE PLASTIC CRISIS

Plastic pollution poses severe environmental challenges, as it takes hundreds of years to decompose and leads to the accumulation of plastic waste in oceans, rivers, and landfills.

This threatens biodiversity, introduces microplastics into the food chain and contributes to greenhouse gas emissions, demanding urgent attention to protect our planet and assure the delicate balance of ecosystems.

— A CRY FOR CHANGE

With marine pollution increasing  at an alarming rate, collaboration between governments, businesses, and communities is crucial to deal with this global challenge.

In fact, a lot of plans are being made to reduce single-use plastics:

> fixing waste management infrastructures

> phasing out problematic products

> establishing producer responsibility schemes

> developing green chemistry innovations

> changing consumer attitudes

— CLEAN UP INITIATIVES

Aligned with this need for change, there are 3 main initiatives that started to trend behind plastic clean- up initiatives.

CSR

Companies are investing in plastic cleanup initiatives as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.

Public Funding

Government funding and grants for cleanup initiatives and technologies.

 Plastic Credits

Market mechanisms that allow companies to compensate for their plastic footprint.
